The “TOUCH of Bristol” starts at 8:00 am on October 19th at New England Physical Therapy’s office located at 291 Queen St. Unit B, in Bristol, in the same building as Dr. Vitale & Dr. Ciccarelli. Parking is available in the rear of the building. Arrangements for transportation to and from the event for qualifying Bristol senior citizens will be provided but must be made in advance by calling 860-583-6378. Refreshments will also be made available.
Participants do not need to register but may call 860-583-NEPT (6378) for more information. Deanna M. DiChello, P.T., MMSc, will be performing the screenings for a “TOUCH of Bristol” in an effort to benefit area residents with back, neck and joint pain by educating them in proper back and neck posture along with a simple home exercise plan and treatment if required.
Deanna is a 1984 Physical Therapy graduate of Quinnipiac University and received her Masters of Medical Science in Orthopedics and also in Maternal & Child Health Care from Emory University. Practicing Physical Therapy in Bristol since 1994, Deanna has become a familiar face with many Bristol residents and is well known and respected by area doctors.
“This is our first annual event and we look forward to giving our services for the day to the community in order to educate people with chronic back and neck pain or any joint pain so that they may better cope with their everyday activities” said Deanna, Director of Physical Therapy, “We hope all who can benefit from better back health will attend”.
